District 4

Jimmy Young, Justice of the Peace

I am a sixth-generation Garland County native, and I have lived in District 4 for 53 of my 65 years. My wife, Vickie, and I have run a successful RV Resort in District 4 for 28 years. We have two grown children who live in Hot Springs and two beautiful granddaughters. My wife Vickie and I are members of Hot Springs Baptist Church. I am an active member of the Garland County Republican Committee. I am also an amateur Hot Springs/Garland county history buff, and recently published my first non-fiction of local family stories called "The Cigar Box Men.”

About District 4

District 4 lies mostly in Hot Springs city limits on Lake Hamilton’s northern shoreline. It has the distinction of having one of Lake Hamilton’s heavily populated lake islands included in it. District 4 encompasses a large densely populated business area of Hot Springs including our airport, several malls, marinas, medical complexes, as well as thousands of homes, condominiums, hotels, and lake resorts. From Lakeland Drive follow the lake shoreline all the way to the east end of the US 70 Airport Road bridge. Next, follow US 70 east past the airport to West St. Louis. Head down Main Street on through residential areas to Central Avenue and Higdon Ferry at about MLK, and back to our starting point at Lakeland Drive.
