Billy Sawyer Named April 2019 Employee of the Month

Billy Sawyer, Assistant Director of the Environmental Services, was recognized by the Garland County Human Resources Committee on Monday, August 12, 2019, during the monthly Quorum Court meeting.  Sawyer was honored as the April 2019 recipient of the Employee of the Month award. The employee of the Month award requires a nomination from a department head detailing the reasons the nominee should be chosen.

"Billy has been and continues to be an example of a motivational, innovative, and hard-working county employee! He never hesitates to fill a gap created by a vacancy in the workforce."  remarked Judge Mahoney.

Billy has been employed with Garland County since April 3, 2008.


Jennifer Ryals Named May 2019 Employee of the Month

Jennifer Ryals, Supervisor of Abstract, Mapping and GIS of the Assessor's office, was recognized by the Garland County Human Resources Committee on Monday, August 12, 2019, during the monthly Quorum Court meeting.  Ryals was honored as the May 2019 recipient of the Employee of the Month award. The employee of the Month award requires a nomination from a department head detailing the reasons the nominee should be chosen.

"Jennifer is a team player and a great asset to the Assessor's office and to the taxpayers of Garland County." remarked by Garland County Assessor, Shannon Sharp. 

Jennifer has been employed with Garland County since June 17, 1991.


DiAnna Cowan Named June 2019 Employee of the Month

The Garland County Human Resources Committee recognized DiAnna Cowan, Receptionist for the Garland County Detention Center, as the June 2019, recipient of the Garland County Employee of the Month award.  The employee of the Month award requires a nomination from a department head detailing the reasons the nominee should be chosen.

DiAnna has been employed with Garland County since April 21, 2016.
